We currently have two vacancies available, as below.

A) We require a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities throughout our plant.

  1. Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and machinery.
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
  3. Lead, supervise, and support a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training.
  4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  5. Collaborate with the Production Manager to address maintenance needs and production goals.
  6. Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively.
  7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment histories, and inventory levels.

The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:

  1. A degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic preferred) or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience in a maintenance management role within a production/manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of automated plant operations and equipment maintenance.
  4. Experience in the agricultural sector or a solid understanding of feed production.
  5. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

B) We require Production Operatives for our busy animal feeds production plant, near Banbury, Oxfordshire.

  1. Following training, there is the prospect of the role progressing to a Shift Leader position.
  2. The job will encompass working as part of a team, within the production plant, dealing with both raw and finished products; understanding the production process; the use of the Company’s production computer system; maintenance of the production plant and working within the guidelines of the Company’s Quality and Health & Safety systems.
  3. The job is varied and includes occasional work on our farm land and paddocks, working within a strong team of valued staff.
  4. There is scope to improve on existing skills, as well as learning new tasks.
  5. The right applicant needs to be computer literate and should hold a full car licence.
  6. A FLT / loading shovel licence is also required, although training can be given.
  7. This role is an opportunity for someone with drive and good communication skills to work within a team to further their skill-set within a long-standing, well established and profitable business.
