NVQs, Train to Gain Funding

Training - Freedom to Roam!

Valley Training is approved by Edexcel to assess for the following NVQs;

Carry and Delivery Goods
Driving Goods Vehicles
Distributive Operations
Storage and Warehousing

The NVQs are aimed at people already competent in their given roles so the NVQ process is designed to be a confirmation of skills already learnt, either through courses and / or by working knowledge. Our experienced assessors make an average of 5 visits for each employee undertaking the NVQ programme and these visits are made whilst the individual is conducting their usual day-to-day working tasks - therefore, not interferring with productivity. There is, as with any qualification, input required from the individuals by responding to questions and completing a small number of questionnaires. The assessors are there to provide some support to those who find themselves needing it.

NVQs are a proven way to build employee and employer relationships and to attract new customers to your business as a way of demonstrating commitment to quality performance.

Valley Training has been awarded Government funding under the well publicised Train to Gain initiative. If you or your company are not eligible for the Train to Gain funding, the NVQs can be undertaken at a commercial rate.
