CV-Soy
Cherwell Valley Silos Limited produces a range of full fat soya products for inclusion in a wide variety of animal feeds serving all sectors of the agribusiness market. Commercial product names include:
- CV-Soy manufacured from 'any-origin' soya beans (US Grade II)
- CV-Soy Max 1% manufacturd from FEMAS non-genetically modified soya beans
- CV-Soy Non GM manufactured from Hard Identity Preserved fully traceable soya beans
- CV-Soy Organic manufactured from Fully Certified organic soya beans.
Typical analysis is 18% oil and 35% protein.
CV-Soy in Detail
Cherwell Valley Silos' full fat soya products are produced from the world's most plentiful source of vegetable protein. CV-Soy products are manufactured to high quality standards in a modern, purpose-built factory from US No2 Yellow or equivalent grade soya beans sourced from USA, Canada or South America.
The whole soya beans are cooked, ground and pelleted to provide a high protein, high oil product suitable for inclusion in a wide range of animal feed rations including poultry layers and broilers, pig feeds, fish feeds and rumen-bypass protein in cattle feeds. Typical analysis is 13% moisture, 18% oil and 35% protein.
CV-Soy is manufactured using 'fluidised bed' technology allied with steam cooking which produces a consistent, high quality product. Grinding and pelleting maximises available oil in the product ensuring excellent feed conversion characteristics.
Product quality
Cherwell Valley Silos Limited is accredited to the FEMAS standard. Quality is maintained through on-line automated systems and an in-house Quality Control department. CV-Soy is tested for microbiological activity at external, approved laboratories and, in-house, for moisture, oils and proteins.
